PRAYER SHAWL MINISTRY

The UMW of FHUMC have a ministry called the Prayer Shawl Ministry. The purpose of this ministry is to create prayer shawls that will be a tangible expression of God's love and prayer for the recipient.  Please check the calendar for meeting times and dates.

These garments are to be given to those in need of prayer to remind them that they are present to us and bound to us in community even in their loneliness, illness, pain, or fear.

It is a ministry of compassion and is open to all who wish to join us in knitting or crocheting prayer shawls.

Everyone is welcome--men, women, youth. All you need is a willing heart and a pair of size 13 long knitting needles--preferably bamboo.

We are seeking donations of $20.00 to help this ministry. If you would like to make a donation, please mark your offering--Prayer Shawl Ministry.
